The Journal of Open and Distance Learning: Perspectives and Practices is an Indian Journal designed to address the wide range of issues concerningEducational Scenario of the country in general and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) in particular. Publication of the Journal is started by U P RajarshiTandon Open University, Prayagraj U.P. to provide a platform for dissemination of new practices in Distance Education including correspondence education, multi-media education, online education and other innovative forms of education. It is aninter-disciplinary journal providing a dedicated forum for contributing ideas and views through articles and research papers from academicians, researchersfreelance writers and others engaged in mentoring the future generations of the country through Education. The Journal publishes both theoretical and empirical works, and includes contributions on current developments and historical changes in distance education.
